***Be sure to scroll to the very, very bottom to see my photos and notes.
***If you don't see the quantities you want, please let me know how many you're needing. I have some of these posted as 'by the bunch' and as a 'vase arrangement', so the inventory is split. Plus, more Tulips are budding up quickly. If you need more open blooms for more immediate work, events, etc., please note that in your order form at checkout. All stages are available, from exactly 'just ready' bud, to just barely opening, to just fully opened. Bunches are typically as close to the perfect tighter bud to barely opening stage as possible.
AVAILABLE *NOW!* (to be delivered within the next 1-2 days)
Current and upcoming varieties listed below.
*Quantities will be updating frequently. With the current ‘heatwave’ they are coloring up quickly with same-to-next day, immediate turnaround (Great Bridge-Hickory-Moyock area), -likely next day to VB.
Offering a large variety of colors and flower types, mostly Doubles and Parrots. The Darwins, Viridifloras, and Lily Flowering types are quite worthy as well.
*Some will be available as ‘minis’ for your special smaller projects.
Some varieties are naturally short and weather can affect height as well. These Tulips have been grown and handled to get the most stem length possible. Despite every trick being utilized, some are determined to remain on the shorter side. They will be cut to their fullest length.
*The varieties currently ready are for fresh-cut only.*
***SOME*** varieties may come with the option to choose fresh-cut or bulb attached, depending on stage of growth at time of posting. It’s a good idea to plan ahead if you would like them with the bulb for dry storage, and let me know your needs so I can plan accordingly. Bulb option will be noted when an option in the selection tabs below.
•Fresh-cut
or
•For you to dry store with bulb intact (you store in a cool place or in the fridge and cut and rehydrate when you’re ready). This method allows for a longer storage time before needing to use, -up to a few weeks.
Flowers are grown locally, by old school hands-on methods, organically. They are truly pampered with the best until they reach their new homes. No robotics or factory production tulips here. Minimal miles from the farm to you provide the highest quality.
Current delivery options:
•Once a week delivery to local Florists & Event Designers in Lower Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Moyock, Elizabeth City, or can meet centrally in Great Bridge-Hickory or Moyock, North Carolina.
To request to be notified when these are ready, or to be added to the Weekly Availability Flower Updates List, please send a short note.
*Pics (most are borrowed) are of the varieties being grown. Please research and become familiar with the ones you’re interested in if exact color is imperative for your needs. If online photos are too bold or garish, they’re probably somewhat off. I will be adding my own images as they’re ready. *UPDATE: The very first few at the top are mine, and those in the descriptions at the very bottom of this listing page. -Plus a couple from recipients of these flowers. Colors are nearly perfect on my monitor.
*Will be adding measurements & labelling the photos when I get the chance.
