This is the preferred European variety, -heavily researched.
Traditionally used during Flu Season, -or just to enjoy the flavor (similar to a mildly tart blueberry).
Use it to make tea, extract, syrup, jelly, gummies, wines.

Elderberries (Sambucus nigra, aka, "Black European Elderberries") have been used by humanity for centuries across the UK and in Europe.
There is respectable modern scientific research backing the centuries' old traditional use of this herb for immune system support, -specifically for the flu. While a widely-used and overall safe herb, -there has been recent discussion about the potential effects on those with autoimmune or hypersensitivity issues.
