NOTE REGARDING QUALITY - ANSWERS TO FAQs:
Consistency varies from batch to batch, though I am generally pleased with the quality of the stock offered.
Contractors and landscapers use this pine straw all over Hampton Roads, and give good feedback.
Every now and then I receive shipment of a batch I'm particularly thrilled with.
Some batches the bales are somewhat loosely bound (and fall apart more easily), but look nice and full.
Other batches the bales may appear smaller and more compact, but were actually packed and tied tightly.
The color runs consistently with good tones.
Twigs and Pine Cones: Natural debris is unavoidable and should be expected due to the nature of harvesting.
Trash: Should be none.
Compared to the national hardware stores' quality (when available), the pine straw bales offered here are much fresher, -a better quality, in all aspects.
These sell quickly and steadily throughout the year. Inventory numbers may not be accurate due to high turnover.
